Opened in 1950 on 24th Street West, the Sage Drive-In was more than a movie, it was an experience. With pony rides, a miniature train that circled the screen, a Ferris wheel, and even on-speaker bingo, it was where Billings families AND Sweethearts made summer memories under the stars. Expanded to four screens in 1978 and closed in 1983, the Sage lives on in golden-hour nostalgia and the smell of popcorn on warm Montana nights
