Hart-Albin was the kind of department store you dressed up to visit.
Located in the heart of downtown Billings, it had marble floors, elegant window displays, and it smelled so good! From prom dresses to perfume counters, Hart-Albin was where generations marked milestones. My childhood Santa memories were from Hart-Albin.
Gone now—but never forgotten—it remains stitched into the fabric of Billings history.
